Quitting Smoking – What Helps You To Make Changes

Right up front I'm going to say that hypnosis is the best way to quit smoking by far. With that out of the way, let's look at other things you can do to support your hypnosis.

The key here is to understand yourself, your nature and what works for you. First up if you are a moderator you can start cutting down before your session.

But if you are a abstainer cutting down will be hard. It will be all or nothing for you.

Do you set and follow goals easily? Or do you struggle. Do you get things done if you make yourself accountable to others or does it work best if you keep your planes to yourself?

Do you resist change when others make suggestions or do you follow advice?

Are you an early bird or a night owl? An early bird would be best with a late hypnosis appointment so there is a shorter time until bedtime. Night owls do not have a time advantage.

If you are a procrastinator, then set your appointment maybe a couple of weeks in advance, so that it does not feel to immediate. By the time it comes you will have gotten used to it. Do not set it too far in the future or you may talk yourself out of it.

An action taker is best to grab the first available appointment.

Make it as easy as possible to keep your appointment. Do not jam it in between other appointments that could run over. Make sure your transport is sorted out.

Ensure other smokers in your environment are aware and agree to support you. Do not book your session on the afternoon prior to a big drinking evening. You need to give yourself some space to properly assimilate the hypnotic change.

Take notice if you are throwing up potential roadblocks, mentally or physically. Give this quitting change the proper focus it describes. Make it a priority in your life. Make sure your surroundings suit you.

Get rid of any cigarettes and ashtrays. Freshen up your car it will make you feel ill if you get back into it after your session if it sells like a giant ashtray.

It pays to ignore the experiences of others, both good and bad. Take notice of yourself and be aware of what you need to do, then make a plan of attack and follow through. Do this and you will succeed!

Quitting Smoking And Black Swans

The Author Nicholas Taleb wrote the book “The Black Swan”. He is an expert in financing major and usually bad events in financial markets.

The thing about black swan events is that they are unexpected, but when viewed in hindsight there is usually a trail of clues leading up to the time of disaster. The problem is that most often these clues are ignored.

Whether any smoker will have a black swan moment such as being diagnosed with a terminal illness is unknown, but probable.

There are clues all along the way. The most obvious is that a smoker smokes! Sounds obvious but if that was a powerful enough clue then who would smoke?

A cough which becomes frequent and sometimes gets worse is another black swan waiting to fly in. Clients have said to me that their cough is annoying and it's because the smoke irritates their lungs. They expect this to disappear when they quit.

Fortunately for most of them they are right, but cigarette smoke is not just an irritant, the toxins in the smoke are directly impacting the cells in the walls of the lungs and most of these toxins are easily transported into the blood stream for efficient delivery into every other cell of the body including.

Another is premature aging of your skin, most obvious on the face and most noticed by women. If you stop to think for a while as to why your skin is aging and how many problems need to be occurring in your body for this to happen then it would absolutely be a clue.

It's not like the obvious damage from too much sun exposure. This is happening from the inside out as a result of inhaling toxic chemicals.

Low energy and getting tired easily are more clues. So what is happening here? Basically the smoke is reducing the amount of oxygen you can carry in your blood to fuel muscles.

So you walk up a flight of stairs, you start to puff harder. This is your heart making you breath faster, to try to get enough oxygen to drive your legs up the stairs. This places a big stress on your heart.

Here are a few clues, and when they add up your body is the equivalent of the nextending financial crash on Wall Street. But most financial crashes can not be stopped but you can pluck the feathers out of your black swan and protect your most important asset … you.

Quit Smoking – Are You A Quitter Or A Person Who Quits?

In the area of smoking where important change needs to be made, where there is a ton of information outlining exactly what happens to smokers, there are three groups of people.

  1. Those who do not want to change.
  2. Those who try, and give up, the quitters.
  3. And those who commit themselves to change and quit successfully.

I'm not talking to the first group as they probably would not read my article and what they do is their business.

I'm not really talking to the third group because I know you are the people who will commit, then book your quit hypnosis appointment, turn up and be very successful with little fuss.

This article is for group two. Those who want to quit but can not seem to succeed. With each attempt you become more and more frustrated. This causes you to approach the next attempt with even less belief.

Do not give up there is a way. Firstly quitting needs to stop being a should, and become a must. You could vividly imagine every horrible thing that could ever happen to you if you do not quit smoking.

Now you need to associate so much pain with smoking, and do this as if your life depends on it, which strangely enough it does. Really feel the pain, scare yourself!

Next think of all the benefits that you will get when you are a non-smoker and associate so much pleasure with not smoking, seeing your life being longer, healthier, and happier. Really feel the pleasure, deep down.

Now you are getting close. Quitting is now a must, not a should or an option, but a 100% absolute. You now go into the pre-hypnosis information time with a clear objective. With each piece of information learned you become more confident.

Next you do your hypnosis session, you are immediately to change easily and quickly. You are committed, and because of this process will be successful.

Sure you may feel a bit angry, you are only human, but if you had not done this work, if you had not turned your should into a must, then your anxiety and fear would have defeated you, just like it did in the past.

So decide that you are worth it, and bite the bullet and fully commit yourself to quitting smoking, book your hypnosis and follow through with the attitude that you will succeed and that failure is not an option.

Quitting Smoking – Runners, Lycra And A Smoke

As I was slurping on my morning coffee recently I observed lots of runners, walkers and cyclists passing by, puffing and sweating in the early morning, but one young women made my eye. She had on super runner shoes and was kitted out in fashionable lycra exercise wear.

What was different from all the others was she was drawing on a cigarette. My thoughts were not about condemning her but more about the inner conflict she was experiencing.

In hypnosis we call it a parts separation. Which means one part of her wanted something ie to be fit and healthy and another part of her still wanted to or had to smoke. This is a really difficult situation for people, but within it there is some good news.

Parts separation certainly makes most smokers feel bad about themselves, but the good news is that you are very close to quitting. You are most likely past any perceived benefit and are just completely over cigarettes. In other words you are ripe for a successful hypnosis session.

If there is no parts separation then it's most likely that you are still OK with smoking on some level. For you it may take a jolt to get you to quit. Such as a big price increase, or a bad health diagnosis for yourself or someone close to you, or sometimes news that you or your partner are pregnant.

Either way these are both perfect situation for hypnosis to be effective and all you need to do is take action and take advantage of the situation.

This brings timing into play, your best chance of quitting is when feelings, events and timing all line up. This way you can fully commit yourself to the process and you can approach it with strong determination.

Without these aspects if you try to quit, then at best you are trying which is not a very successful way to make any change, at best it will be a half-hearted attempt which can easily fail at the first hurdle.

Or you are doing it to please someone else, and secretly pretending to go along with their wishes. This is not a good recipe for success, but at least you can say you tried. Then light up another smoke as you through your hands in the air as if to say, what else can I do? Probably you have never done this, but you know someone who has for sure!

Quit Smoking – Small Big Changes

Going from being a smoker to being a non-smoker can seem like a giant step especially if you have struggled before in the past. And the idea of doing it in an hour or so using hypnosis can almost seem impossible.

But so many smokers wake up Monday morning and decide to go cold turkey which is like jumping into the unknown without a parachute. For most they are lighting up again that week having suffered and struggled and annoyed a lot of people around them.

There is a better way. The key is a series of small changes which lead to a big change, but this time you are lowered gently by parachute onto a mound of marshmallows when you arrive at your goal of being a non-smoker.

Step one is to make a firm decision to quit and set a firm date. It's best to set this date no more than two weeks away.

Next is to make your hypnosis appointment, and put it on all your calendars.

The time in between is important. You can cut down if that works without creating too much stress. One way is to delay each cigarette by just 10 minutes. If you smoke 20 per day you have delayed by 200 minutes.

In reality you have reduced your number of smokers by 5 by just implementing a small delay. Now you only have to deal with quitting 15. You will find this easier each day and sometimes in the second week you may cut back a little more.

It's important not to stress yourself over cutting back. It's of no benefit to you to force this.

You will be given some tasks to do before your quit session, such as watch a couple of short videos, these more small steps, the things you will discover will help ready you to quit and also realize that some of the reasons you smoke are very much working against what you are trying to achieve.

The next small step is to show up for your appointment and be on time. This may seem obvious but thinking of your drive to your session and walking in as a part of the process is important.

It's like you are ticking off boxes as you go.

It does not matter if you are a bit nervous or an exotic, it's only natural and you will soon be able to relax and let yourself enjoy the process.

You may never have considered enjoying quitting, but hypnosis is pleasant and relaxing.

The last step is to follow any advice you are given and to follow through with it. Make sure you do this because your health is worth it. So you can quit knowing that you are making a series of simple steps rather than one big one.

Quit Smoking – Just Stepping Out for Some Fresh Nicotine Filled Smoke

It's commonly heard that someone steps outside for some fresh air, or a smoker says, just stepping out for a smoke, but have you ever said?

Just stepping outside for some nicotine filled smoke, and while I'm there I'll suck in 200 chemicals which cross into my brain and the whole 2000 chemicals which head for my liver. At this point I might even imagine I can think more clearly, although it's hard to know with such chaos occurring in my gray cells.

At the same time my long-suffering bronchioles will gasp as they try to pass this dense fog from my lungs into my blood stream.

As I'm really getting into relaxation mode my heart is now trying to pump this oxygen stripped sludge through my arms and then force its way back to my heart via my suffering veins.

As I let out a long satisfied plume of smoke my entire body and brain has just been traumatized and the thought that the cigarette break has come to an end is a huge relief for every cell in my body.

Of course you do not have these thoughts, it would be way to scary and would completely wreck your much earned break, it could even lead you to thinking about quitting smoking.

You might not like these words but unfortunately everything is true, it's all happening every time you light up a cigarette. You can deny it, you can avoid thinking about it, but it is still happening, there is no way to avoid it, except to quit.

You will know you are ready to quit when the negatives out weigh any perceived benefits of smoking, when you light up and you wish you did not and when you wish you did not need to smoke.

When the time is right then hypnosis is by far the most successful way to quit. When done by a practitioner who specializes in quitting smoking you will have an excellent chance of stopping cigarettes in under 90 minutes.

To most smokers it does not seem possible that a habit they have struggled with often for decades can be eliminated in such a short time.

The advantage of hypnosis is that you can access that part of your brain which is involved with memories and habits in a waking state and you can go straight to the heart of the matter. I say you, because you can not be forced to change and your practitioner guides you through the process.

How Smoking Affects As You Pound the Pavement

Smoking is injurious to health – we have been listening this since our childhood. If this, or the numerous other reasons associated with smoking were not enough to kick the butt, there is another one to do so. Smoking could also have a direct bearing on the chances of unemployed individuals getting a job.

According to a new research, smoking severely impairs the chances of an unemployed person landing a job. Even if he or she manages to get one, the learning is much less than the non-smoking peers, it says.

The report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association's Internal Medicine was based on the study on some unemployed people in the San Francisco Bay Area. It disclosed that among the participants nonsmokers were 30 percent more likely than smokers to have found a job in a year. The research was designed to examine differences in reemployment by smoking status in a 12-month period.

The lead author of the study, Judith Prochaska, of the Stanford Prevention Research Center in California, said that smoking not only causes physical damage but also has implications on the financial well-being of an individual.

“The health hormones of smoking have been established for over 50 years, and now evidence is accumulating that smoking can hurt your success in the work and sometimes even lower your pay,” Prochaska told Reuters Health via email.

Does unemployment lead to smoking?

Although there were various studies that associated smoking with unemployment, it was not clear whether smoking started before unemployment or people started smoking after losing their jobs. The latest study aimed at clearing this doubt by studying 251 unemployed individuals enrolled between 2013 and 2015.

Of them, 131 were daily smokers and 120 nonsmokers. When contacted a year later, of the 217 participants who could be contacted, 56 percent of the nonsmokers had managed to secure a job as compared to 27 percent of the smokers.

Among smokers who managed to get a job, they made about $ 5 less an hour than their nonsmoking counterparts. However, the study did not look for the reasons that led to the differences. One important observation made by the study was that smokers tend to avail more sick leaves than nonsmokers in the workplace and are more distracted at work.

“One thing we found that suggests an answer was that smokers in our sample tended to place a greater priority with regard to their discretionary spending on cigarettes than on aspects that would aid in their job-search, such as costs for transportation, mobile phone, new clothing, and grooming care, “said Prochaska.

This suggests that addiction to smoking tends to make one lackadaisical where addicts give more precenedence to things revolving around smoking. The researchers claimed that this was the first study which has prospectively tracked re-employment success by smoking status. “Treatment of tobacco use in unemployment service settings is worth testing for increasing re-employment success and financial well-being,” the researchers felt.

Smoking as bad as any other substance abuse

Here, addiction of smoking is also like any other substance abuse and can harm a person in more ways than one. Linked to unemployment and poor earnings, smoking could inflict depression in a person which is a very real threat. Beside, smoking could also lead to other substance abuse risks in smokers.

Quitting Smoking – Why Hypnosis?

Most clients I see for quitting smoking have tried most things and for many of them hypnosis is a little bit out of left field but they have generally heard it works.

Hypnosis works because it allows you to focus very clearly on one idea for an extended period of time.

Our conscious minds can not hold a single thought for more than 15 seconds on average before we drift to something else.

We can not consciously hold two thoughts simultaneously and make any sense of either.

Most people can not remember a ten digit phone number without making a serious effort to learn it and we all know how quickly we forget someone's name, at a party unless they have a special interest for us, and even then sometimes we have the embarrassment of having to ask again.

Fortunately your unconscious mind and automatic systems can process millions of pieces of information and psychological processes instantly.

That is why you can look at a busy street and completely make sense of everything that is there and know what is going on and not even have to think about it.

But if there was a Zebra in your local shopping mall your unconscious would not have a reference for African wildlife in such a place and your conscious mind would turn its complete attention to trying to work out what is going on

Your conscious mind does not process quitting smoking very well because it gets over rule by your unconscious which has all the memories of smoking with friends behind the bicycle shed at school, to looking cool, to using smokers as a prop when bored or having a smoke when stressed.

All in all there could be thousands and thousands of stored references to smoking stored away in your subconscious files.

The problem comes when you choose to quit and your conscious mind can not overpower the will of the unconscious which thinks it is protecting you.

Hypnosis bi-passes this problem by speaking directly to your unconscious mind. When you agree to hypnosis for a specific issue you allow this direct conversation to be had. Then it is simply a matter of your unconscious taking on new information and creating a new story about smoking.

This new story is that you do not smoke. You do need to ensure that you do not place too much pressure on this new thought for at least three weeks. By that I mean do not test your new non-smoking status by lighting up to prove you are in control.

Also take care when lots of alcohol is involved because you will not have conscious or unconscious control to help you.

Quit Smoking to Avoid Cancer and Let the Spirit Heal You

In my younger years everyone smoked. There was barely a household where someone was not puffing away on cigarettes and the air always smelt of it. One ate with the smell, slept with it, even woke up to it, and it was quite normal to put up with it on public transport, in restaurants, even in the doctor's surgery. So what changed? Now there are few places in Australia where one is in touch with the effects of air pollution from cigarettes but the cancer rates have not dropped.

It was never a nice smell and when some teenage friends tempted me to try a cigarette they made me feel 'left out' if I did not go along with it. That is how peer pressure works. Before long I was hooked and buying cigarettes to smug past my parents while looking for excuses to go out so I could partake of the habit.

The addiction lasted until in my early 30's when my son questioned why I smoked and said it smelt awful. He was only 4 years of age and this coming from a small child made me quit. But it was not only that. An article in a monthly magazine pointed out that if one quits smoking and does not develop cancer over the next 30 years or so then the chances are you will not get it. The 30 years flew by while other things came into the picture in the meanime.

There is much about life that we do not understand and addictions to things like smoking is one of them. Cancer and why we suffer is another. For me there was a different agenda waiting to be served.

With memory of my reincarnation and a strong link to the Spirit of the Universe, the only God, it mandated me to tear down the wall of blindness that allows suffering and death. It was put up by the first beast of Revelation and it is sun worship. The second beast strengthened it when he established the Catholic Church in 325 AD and put up the image of Jesus Christ based on the gods of Babylon and Islam. He put Mary, the Mother God of that region, in it as the Mother of God.

What this was was to soften the minds of those who would resist temptation and to give them a way out through the false gods and the claim of redemption and notions of the devil, and so on. It also buried the truth beneeth the layers of myths, magic, and make-believe and this is what causes conditions like cancer.

The Spirit heals and when it called me to the work it revealed knowledge of those who are spiritual and how they avoid things that hurt them, just as I did. It drives a wedge between them and the world as the little voice within speaks out and then they can be miraculously healed if they request it. Many have come away from their addictions through the Spirit working within me and anyone who seeks to quit smoking should take these thoughts on board.

Studies Show Cigarette Smoking Causes Chronic Back Pain

You have probably experienced back pain. At one point or another, everyone has. Have you ever asked yourself whether your smoking has something to do with your back pain? You should have.

Smoking Hurts Your Back

It turns out that cigarette smoking has a direct impact on many aspects of your health. Back pain is just one of them.

How does smoking affects your back pain? It does so in the same way that it effects all other aspects of your health. Cigarette smoke contains toxic chemicals that affect your joints in a negative way.

One of my previous summer jobs involved lifting heavy items. Somehow I found lifting with my legs a hard concept to assist. As a result, I ended up getting the nickname “Grandpa” that summer.

During that period, I experienced normal back pain, which I earned through hard work and stupidity. My pain went away when I finally changed the way I lifted stuff.

Chronic back pain is completely different. It does not go away quickly, and you usually end up taking painkillers to control the pain.

The Search for Relief

Like smoking cigarettes, taking prescription painkillers has many negative side effects. One of the major issues associated with prescription painkillers is the risk of developing a strong addiction. Moreover, even with strong medication, only about 58% of chronic back pain sufferers get the relief they desire.

You may say that your nicotine addiction does not have any influence on your pain. It may actually feel like cigarette smoking decreasing the intensity of your pain. In general, though, cigarette smokers are more likely to lead unhealthier lives. Could this just be a coincidence?

You are like a host with Stockholm syndrome. You have gotten used to being a hostage, and you like your kidnapper-the cigarette. Smoking does not add anything positive to your life, but you grasp at straws to justify your nicotine addiction. You know that you should quit smoking cigarettes if you really want relief. The relief that you feel when you smoke is just a distraction.

Cigarettes ARE the Problem

Smoking a cigarette allows you to switch focus for a few minutes. Your back pain does not decrease in intensity, and it does not go away. You have tricked your mind. If you do not think about the pain, you do not feel it. But it is still there.

Cigarette smoking is a major factor in the development of chronic back pain. More specifically, it is a major cause of hypertensive and coronary artery disease, which negatively influence back pain.

Researchers conducted a study during which they monitored over 1,300 people for more than 50 years. The study followed 1,337 doctors, who graduated from Johns Hopkins University. The oldest participant was monitored for 53 years. This long-term study showed that high blood cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and other blood circulation issues played major roles in the development of chronic back pain.

Cigarette smoking has a devastating effect on the whole body. The circulatory system is no exception. The aforementioned study showed that, when all other variables remained the same, cigarette smoking was a major factor in the development of chronic back pain. The implications are very clear-if you want to get rid of your back pain you need to quit smoking cigarettes right now.

Smoking Impairs Your Ability to Heal

Every time you move, you damage your spine a bit. Your body constantly repairs this damage. When you smoke, your body makes available fewer, lower quality materials for these repairs. That is how smoking causes your back pain.

The study described above provided the existence of a connection between chronic joint pain and smoking. Another study determined how and why incidental back pain, which we all feel, develops into something that endures for weeks, months and years.

Nicotine addiction effects the development of chronic back pain in another way. Pain is not something physical. You can not touch, taste or see it. Rather, your brain gets signals and interpreters them.

Smoking Alters Your Brain

Smokers are three times more likely than nonsmokers to develop chronic back pain. How and why does cigarette smoking have such a strong, negative effect on your back? Smoking affects your brain's addictive behavior and motivated learning connections. By strengthening these connections, smoking plays a major role in the development of chronic back pain and chronic pain in other parts of your body.

A strong connection between the two brain regions called the nucleus accumbens and the medial prefrontal cortex influences your resilience to chronic pain. Smoking makes the connection between these two parts of the brain stronger, thus impacting your susceptibility to developing chronic pain.

You Can Fix It

This damage is not permanent even if you have smoked for decades.

Researchers saw a dramatic drop in this brain connection among smokers who quit smoking cigarettes. Their vulnerability to chronic pain deteriorated. This means that that the damage was not permanent. Similarly, if you quit smoking, you can reduce the intensity of your chronic back pain.

You must first quit smoking if you want to eliminate your chronic back pain.

Nicotine Is Poison

This is one reason why quitting with the assistance of nicotine replacement therapy (nicotine gum, patches or other nicotine-containing products) is not as great as ads would have you believe. In order to reduce the pain in your joints, you need to eliminate all nicotine consumption. Nicotine promotes unhealthy brain connections, damages nerves and reduces your body's ability to mend itself.

Smoking cigarettes damages your back because it damages your body and alters your brain. Decreasing the amounts of toxic chemicals you consume while continuing to consume nicotine might lead to some improvements in how you feel. However, you will still be addicted to nicotine and continue to strengthen those brain connections.

In order to make chronic pain a thing of the past, you must stop consuming nicotine, be it in the form of cigarettes, cigars, vaporizers or patches.

Smoking Kills Woman’s Sex Drive

Every time there is talk about the damage cigarette smoking does to smokers, it is mentioned that it hits men where it matters. I'm talking about impotence of course. Rarely, if ever, does the discussion entail smoking's effect on women.

A cigarette is like a small chemical factory on fire. It produces a large variety of toxic chemicals, which have a negative impact on every single cell in your body. Women and men alike feel these negative effects in the bedroom.

The Attention You Deserve

Unfortunately, women's sexuality is not a much studied subject. However, the situation is improving, and, as the data comes in, it is apparent that the results are not in favor of smoking. Studies that were conducted to test the impact of cigarette smoking on women showed that it decreed their libido and sexual arousal.

You already know that smoking hits the lungs, but do you know that it hits the blood circulation system as hard? That is why your hands and feet are always cold. You will be “excited” to learn that the chemicals in cigarettes and other nicotine-containing products also decrease the flow of blood to the clitoris and vagina.

The Diminishment of Your Pleasure

You know what that means. Cigarette smoking diminishes your pleasure. Put that on a list next to hundreds of other reasons why you need to quit smoking cigarettes right now.

Those chemicals do not stop at ruining a pleasant evening. They work their magic to decrease your ability to get pregnant. Cigarettes harm your ovaries and tubes, hurting your chances of starting a family.

If you are planning to get pregnant, you and your partner have to quit smoking.

More Is Not Always Better

The “good news” keeps coming: Smoking also affects the menstrual cycle. Women who smoke are more likely to have painful and irregular periods. Period pain lasts longer for smokers. Here, your nicotine addiction diminishes your fun and, on top of that, it makes you suffer.

Nicotine has another nasty effect. It decrees your estrogen levels. Thus, it eliminates the irregular and painful periods that it caused, accelerating the arrival of menopause. On average, smoking women reach menopause years earlier than their nonsmoking friends. Their decreed estrogen levels also increase their risk of developing other diseases.

The Big C

Cigarettes' final blow to the reproductive system is the associated increased risk of developing cervical and vulvar cancer. The chemicals in cigarettes affect the cells in your cervix. This means that your chances of getting cervical cancer rise by 30%. That may not sound like much, especially if you compare it to the fact that 86% of lung cancer cases are linked to smoking. But let me ask you this: Would you fly a particular plane if you knew that it was 30% more likely than any other to fall? Would you drive a car if you knew that it was 30% more likely than any other to crash? Of course not.

So why are you still smoking?

The News Keeps Coming

The effects of cigarette smoke on the reproductive system are even worse. Smoking dramatically increases your chances of developing vulvar cancer, which affects twice as many women who smoke as it does nonsmokers.

Do not forget that, on top of all this, cigarette smoking has other negative effects. Vulvar cancer and cervical cancer are only two out of many possible cancers. These and other negative aspects of smoking accumulate.

Relationships Suffer

Your body is an intricate system. Not only does smoking damage it, but it also damages your mind. Nicotine addiction is like any other form of addiction. It is a self-sustaining circle of misery that keeps you in a constant state of anxiety and stress.

Anxiety and stress are close to the top of the list of things that turn people off. Smoking attacks women's pleasure both physically and mentally. As a consequence, relationships suffer.

Cigarette smoking is often a source of tension in relations. Stress, anxiety, tension and a lowered ability to feel pleasure during sex pile up. Studies have shown that smokers have a 53% higher divorce risk than nonsmoking couples.

Everything Adds Up

Such high tariff rates for smokers should not surprise you. You can see the effects of smoking on yourself and on your partner. Smoking has nothing to do with “who I am.” Instead of feeling defensive, you should feel glad and grateful when your partner asks you to quit. He / she is doing this because he / she can see smoking's impact on you, the individual, and on you as a couple.

Smoking has a strong negative effect on your sex drive; it keeps you in a state of anxiety and stress. When you feel this way, you can not love anyone. In order to love someone, you need to be able to love yourself. By smoking, you are hurting yourself willingly and with full knowledge.

Love yourself and the people in your life. Enjoy a smoke-free life and discover a whole new world of pleasure.

New Beginnings

Your sex life and your relationship are great reasons for setting down cigarettes for good. You see, there's more to them than the improvement of the blood flow to your vagina and clitoris. That is a great positive effect, but things do not stop there.

Your pleasure and relationship will improve dramatically because you will feel better. Once your addiction no longer has you on a short leash, you will discover that you are happier and your life is less stressful. In addition to your mental state, your physical state will improve. You will feel and look better.

Quitting smoking will make you feel better about yourself and, as a consequence, your sex life and relationships will improve dramatically.

Quit Smoking – The 12 Non Essentials

  2. Think of you quitting in positive terms, as Yoda says do not try, do. Think only in having successfully quit.
  3. Follow all instructions from your hypnosis practitioner.
  4. Do your homework. You will be given things to do such as listen to a CD or do specific exercises.
  5. Follow any stress management advice, if you are not given any then research this before your session. Everyone on the planet needs a stress management plan.
  6. Drink extra water, hydration is very important, plus the action of raising a water bottle to your lips will give your hands something to do.
  7. Get enough sleep. In this age sleep is great undervalued, we need it to rebuild and recover
  8. Increase your activity, whether it be walking or more active exercise your body needs it.
  9. Eat plenty of vegetables especially greens. These will help your body build up your micro-nutrient levels which have been beaten by smoking, plus aid your liver to de-toxify the toxins from your body.
  10. Deep breathing to rehabilitate your lungs and to drive oxygen through your arms and to reduce stress.
  11. Congratulate yourself frequently for having quit and remember all the powerful reasons you had for quitting.
  12. Notice how much more cash you have each week and set a target to save for.

None of these 12 steps are difficult or special in isolation, but in combination can easily be the difference between success and failure.

So just ask yourself, do you want to quit or not? Perhaps right now would be a good time to 100% honest with yourself If not then do not waste time now, but if you do want to quit then why you would not do everything in your power to succeed.

So what if you are sitting on the fence, you know you should quit, but you like smoking, so ask yourself what kind of future do you want, if you tip to quitting, then jump in total, book your session and do all of the 12 non essentials and you will quit.

And guess what, you may occasionally think about smoking but most of the time you will not even miss it.

Quit Smoking or Die a Horrible Death

The awful addictive to smoking is causing many to die of cancer. This insidious disease strikes any part of the body and can result in pain beyond description as the growing tumor stretches the tissues pulling them apart. It's many times worse than a splinter or of having your fingers nails pulled off. Cancer of the throat; lungs; brain; bladder; liver; colon; and the pancreas are possibly the most common but there are other areas affected as well.

It can strike anyone at any age and is probably the reason why some babies are born with cancer. In a case near me recently a grandmother described the appearance of her newborn grand-daughter who had a huge tumor on her forehead. She died within a week but the pain must have been excruciating.

Those who lose their larynx speak through an artificial replacement while those who have mouth cancer can lose part or all of their tongue and mandible. This robs them of the ability to taste and can cause gross disfigurement even if the cancer is removed.

Removal of a tumor is not necessarily the end of it as another can strike a different part of the body and then another part again. Even skin cancer is a sign that one is susceptible to them. The result in most cases is a horrible death and questions of 'why me' are frequently heard.

Why indeed! If you smoke then you are already a victim. Even if you breathe that of someone else you are a victim and children are often put in that situation. Where parents and their friends smoke around them the result is the same as if they were the ones addicted.

The pain of quitting puts many people off doing it. They need to take into account the pain and cost of not doing it. Death by cancer is horrible and not to be undertaken light by putting oneself or their family at risk.

My interest in this subject comes from my reincarnation and knowledge that we live in the world controlled by 666. He is Constantine who set up the system of commerce wheree addiction to anything makes money for the sellers and producers of such drugs. Getting away from the ignorance that allows them to be legal is not encouraged by governments or companies who are the winners and money makers from ones habit.

How Hypnosis Can Help People Who Want To Quit Smoking

If you're a chain smoker, you probably already know that this habit is not only annoying and harmful to you, but to others as well. Although you may find the oral habit of puffing on a cigar relaxing, others, especially the ones who do not smoke, simply consider this irritating and bad for their health. Whenever you a light a cigarette, especially in the presence of people who do not smoke, you're putting them at risk for lung cancer and other types of pulmonary illnesses.

Unfortunately, if you want to stop this habit, you will know that smoking is not one of the easiest habits to kick. This is due to the fact that cigars contain nicotine – an addictive substance. Also, there is the fact that smoking in itself is an addictive habit or behavior for a lot of people.

Quitting smoking will require your full determination and willpower. To help you find success in this important goal, you can make use of other helpful items such as nicotine patches and certain prescription drugs. Hypnosis is also an option that you can consider.

Hypnosis has been proven useful to treat various medical, dental and psychological problems. Areas of application typically include anxiety and stress conditions, confidence issues, weight control, addictive behaviors such as smoking and substance misuse.

For people who want to quit smoking, hypnosis can work in two ways. It can try to weak a person's desire to light a cigar or strengthen the person's willpower and help him or her to stick to a quit smoking program.

Most hypnotherapists would employ two methods to help people who want to quit smoking. The first method is Direct Suggestion. Under this type of therapy, a patient is usually asked to imagine or think about unpleasant consequences from smoking. For instance, the therapist can suggest that after you smoke, you smell like something that came out of an incinerator and that smoking always leaves a person's mouth feeling parched.

One of the most popular smoking cessation hypnosis techniques is Spiegel's method. This therapy focuses on three primary ideas:

– Smoking can poison your body
– You need a healthy body to live
– You should always respect and protect your body

The patient will then be taught to master self-hypnosis. The therapist will ask the patient to repeat these affirmations any time the desire to smoke occurs.

Another method used in hypnotherapy for smokers is the Multi-component or Cognitive Behavioral hypnotherapy. This method is a blend of techniques tailor to smoking cessation. The combination of hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy utilizes a wide range of different, evidence-based interventions in addition to hypnotic suggestions.

Quit Smoking – What Are You Going To Be When You Give Up?

I saw this on a Tee shirt recently a bit of a spin on what will you do when you grow up. But have you actually thought about how your life will be when you quit smoking.

Most smokers focus on the cost and their health problems and of course how they are going to quit cigarettes. This focus grows with each attempt and soon failure becomes an anticipation.

So what happens next time to try to quit, of course you doubt you can succeed and throw in the towel at the first hurdle. So what if you just put your past behind you and do a little mental time traveling.

Imagine you have quit smoking successfully and that you are breathing much easier. See the important people in your life cheering for you and feeling happy and relieved that you quit.

Perhaps you notice much more cash in your purse or wallet or buying yourself something special as a reward for quitting, could be a holiday or something fun for the family.

Or you may just see yourself as a healthy person free from the risks of smoking, even sitting in your favorite restaurant or café, enjoying yourself and noticing the smokers standing outside in the heat, and feeling good about that.

The benefits of quitting are many and the problems of smoking are many, so it's not hard to see which side to be on. You can quit successfully as countless others have done.

First fully commit to yourself and your future, decide and believe you will quit as if there were no other possible option and then choose hypnosis as the means to do it. Be sure to follow all the advice you are given and follow through with any recommendations from your practiceer.

There should be advice about stress management, so that you have a way to deal with problems and anxiety without smoking, and nutritional advice to assist with the physical transformation your body goes through as it releases toxins from your liver and fatty tissue.

Also you should have a support CD to listen to occasionally to remind you why you quit. This is important because many people go back to smoking in a moment of weakness, often around friends who smoke, because they forgot all the reasons that they wanted to quit in the first place.

Having a seasonal reminder is a perfect way to keep these reasons fresh in your mind, so that in a tricky situation you stop and consider your options carefully and make the right decision for you.
